PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve storage efficiency to the maximum relating to a storage device like a bookshelf provided with storage shelves in two front and back stages. SOLUTION: The bookshelf is provided with a storage part where a front surface is opened, a fixed storage shelf installed on the back side of the storage part and a transversely movable storage shelf provided so as to be moved in a transverse direction inside the storage part more on the front than the fixed storage shelf. A rotary storage shelf is provided so as to be rotated around a center line in a height direction more on the front than the fixed storage shelf, the transversely movable storage shelf is transversely moved in the state of rotating the rotary storage shelf to the front so as to be separated from the storage part, and the rotary storage shelf can be rotated to the back so as to house the rotary storage shelf inside the storage part by withdrawal by the transverse movement of the fixed storage shelf.
