PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a levee forming machine useful for creation operation and restoration operation of a levee forming a paddy field. SOLUTION: This levee forming machine has such constitution that a machine frame is connected to a tractor by a connection mechanism, levee leveling operation mechanisms are selectively arranged on both right and left sides of the machine frame in the traveling direction, a power transmission contacting and separating mechanisms of the levee leveling operation mechanisms are arranged and an elevation mechanism is installed so that the levee leveling operation mechanisms on both the right and left side parts are rotated around the central part of the machine frame in the traveling direction and one of the levee leveling operation mechanisms is selectively lowered to a levee leveling operation position and the other is lifted to an opposing upper retreating position. The levee leveling operation mechanisms are equipped with fixing means to the machine frame sides on the levee leveling operation position and the upper retreating position, respectively so that an electric cylinder being the elevation mechanism is miniaturized and prolonged in life.
