The bush has partially ring-shaped jaws (10) between which a rod to be processed is clamped when loaded. An axle runs transverse to a recess and a threaded hole (12) is provided in the recess. A spring ring (18) is inserted in the recess and has a counter sunk drilling (14) and a counter sunk screw (16). A chip protection screen is screwed on a side of the bush and is located on the opposite side of a slit in the ring.
