<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copyright protection method for digital publications, and to provide a system therefor. <P>SOLUTION: At least one copyright authorization password for a digital publication and a digital publication file are acquired, or the copyright authorization password is acquired on the basis of an indicated location of the digital publication file after acquiring the digital publication file, further, the copyright authorization password is authenticated, and information on a restoration system, use authority, a file location, contents and the like for the digital publication which are described in the copyright authorization password is captured. After a use device has acquired the relevant information, the device is allowed to reproduce, use or access the corresponding digital publication file. In addition, the digital publication file can be transferred to or copied to other use device as necessary, and operation of division, merging or the like of the copyright authorization password can be performed by an instruction, so that functions of sharing, transmission and transfer of the digital publication file and the copyright authorization password are attained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
