<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyphenol-containing dry fruit containing much polyphenols, and readily taken as a supplement: and to provide a method for favorably producing the polyphenol-containing dry fruit. <P>SOLUTION: The polyphenol-containing dry fruit contains moisture at ≤20 wt.%, and polyphenols at ≥200 mg in 100 g of an edible part. The polyphenol-containing dry fruit has little moisture content and thereby enables a user to more readily take a desired amount of fruit components such as dietary fibers than in fresh fruit so as to readily take an enough amount of the polyphenols having prevention effect on arterial sclerosis, or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
