<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent data destruction when a recording surface side is accidentally set about an optical disk medium in which a recording medium is provided also to a label surface side and print is possible. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of performing a printing operation to the optical disk medium, discrimination processing about whether or not the label surface side is set is performed.
