<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molded article, excellent in designability, water resistance and abrasion resistance, by vacuum molding through the use of a transfer sheet whereon recording can be performed by an oil-based inkjet system, and the transfer sheet for use in the method. <P>SOLUTION: Characteristically, this method for manufacturing the molded article comprises: a step of forming an image by ejecting ink to a surface of an image-receiving adhesion layer of the transfer sheet, where at least a protective layer and the image-receiving adhesion layer are sequentially laminated on a substrate sheet, depending on image information, by means of the oil-based inkjet system; a step of thermally transferring the image-receiving adhesion layer to a resin plate by heating and pressurizing the transfer sheet wherein the image is formed, so that a decorative material can be created; a step of creating the molded article by vacuum-molding the decorative material; and a step of curing the protective layer by applying ionization radiation to the molded article. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
