<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetation float island comprising an artificial float island produced by using waste tires in view of recycle of products, provided with aquatic plants planted on a vegetation base part, and preventing a float island body from being broken via washing ashore of small ships or collision of driftwood to the artificial float island. <P>SOLUTION: This vegetation float island is structured as follows: fixing crash units 3 where an inner-part foaming buoyant body 16 is formed at the inner part of each of the waste tire 10, a vegetation-base housing basket 11 projecting downward from the bottom surface opening of the waste tire 10 is provided, and a vegetation base material 15 is charged in the waste tire 10 and the vegetation-base housing basket 11, at prescribed intervals on the peripheral position of a float island obtained by forming a foamed buoyant body 12 having joining parts at prescribed positions of an outer edge around the waste tire 10, putting the vegetation-base housing basket 11 projecting downward from the bottom surface opening of the waste tire 10, and joining a float island body unit 2 obtained by charging the vegetation base material 15 into the waste tire 10 and the vegetation-base housing basket 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
