<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter which can attain the further increase in an efficiency of a medical site by enabling to develop an X-ray imaging apparatus using an FPD to an emergency care. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric converter includes a wavelength converter, a photoelectric conversion means for converting a light emitted from the wavelength converter into an electrical signal, and a means for converting the charged stored in the photoelectric conversion means located in two-dimensional manner.
