<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous control method and a controller for a plurality of printers or a plurality of sections of a printer in which durabilities of a motor and the bearing section thereof can be enhanced while reducing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: In the synchronous controller for a plurality of printers each performing the synchronous control of the rotation of a sub-printer B for the rotation of a main printer A by providing the machine shafts 11 and 111 of the main printer A and the sub-printer B, respectively, with prime mover motors 15 and 115, the prime mover motors 15 and 115 are attached, respectively, with prime mover motor brakes 16 and 116, and each drive controller 19 and 20 releases the synchronous control of the prime mover motor 115 of the sub-printer B by a stop command and actuate the prime mover motor brakes 16 and 116 of both the printers A and B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
