<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platemaking method for a planographic printing master plate by which even when planographic printing master plates each having a protective layer on a photosensitive layer writable with an infrared laser are continuously developed over a prolonged period of time, non-image areas are not stained and planographic printing plates having high image quality and excellent printing durability can be made. <P>SOLUTION: In the platemaking method for a planographic printing master plate in which a planographic printing master plate obtained by sequentially stacking on a support a photosensitive layer containing an infrared absorbent, a polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound and a binder polymer, and a protective layer is exposed to light having a wavelength of 750-1,400 nm and then developed substantially without heating and washing, a developing solution used in the development contains at least one antigelling agent selected from the group consisting of monoalcohol compounds and monoketone compounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
