<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for guiding a laser beam to the focal spot of the target tissue in cornea laser surgery. <P>SOLUTION: When the laser beam is generated, diffusion from the center beam path of the laser beam is minimized by arranging optical guidance components in order. At first, the beam is guided to the center of a z scanner, and this makes the focus move to the z direction in media. Next, the beam goes through the center of a first current detector mirror, and this brings the movement of the focus in the x direction. Then, the second current detector mirror guides the beam to the center of the third current detector mirror again, and so the movement of the x direction is compensated and the movement of the focus is induced in the y direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
