PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor and a fire damper that allow solder to liquefy instantaneously when a set temperature is reached. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor comprises a first plate 402 opposed to an exhaust flow, a second plate 404 opposed to the first receiver plate 402 downstream of the exhaust flow, and provided with exhaust contact wings 404e and 404f projected outward of a flat area of the first plate 402 and positioned upstream of the first receiver plate 402 with respect to the exhaust flow so as to be in direct contact with the exhaust, and the eutectic solder 403 joining the first plate 402 and the second plate 404 between the first plate 402 and the second plate 404 and adapted to liquefy when reaching a predetermined temperature to release the joint between the first plate 402 and the second plate 404.
