PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance identification accuracy further by ensuring a difference in sensor output voltages between a true coin and a fake coin required for identification. SOLUTION: A plate 5 is supported so that a collision sensor 6 may be vibrated in the coin collision direction by fixing the collision sensor 6 collided with an inserted coin 1 by means of the plate 5. Natural frequency is set to conform to the elastic modulus of the detecting the coin so that the plate 5 may has a contact time for allowing the coin 1 to collide with the collision sensor 6 of longer than half of a natural vibration cycle in the coin collision direction and shorter than the natural vibration cycle in the coin collision direction to form the sensor output voltage higher than that in an ordinary fixed state by resonance vibration. Or the natural frequency of the plate 5 is set so that the contact time may agree with the natural vibration cycle in the coin collision direction to form the sensor output voltage lower than that in the ordinary fixed state by anti-resonance vibration.
