PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replac a lamp box without specially preparing a screwing tool. SOLUTION: The image display projector 100 is provided with a lamp box 10 for housing a lamp 1. a projector body 20 equipped with an image forming element 1, a lamp door 22 for opening/closing an opening 31, and a fixed screw operation member 30, and holding parts 14a and 14b which detachably hold the screw operation member 30. The holding parts 14a and 14b are provided on the back of the lamp box 10, i.e. a place which is exposed when the lamp door 22 is detached from the projector body 20. The screw operation member 30 is detached from the lamp box 10 and an engagement part 32 is engaged with a screw operation groove 52 of a head part 51 of a screw 50 for lamp box fixation, which can be clamped and unclamped.
