PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component that can secure a fixed or more heteropolar distance and, in addition, can be reduced in size. SOLUTION: In the electronic component, a terminal 6 having a plate section 6A on a flat surface is provided in a noise filter 1 having a capacitor 2, first and second cores 4 and 5, and a metallic frame terminal 3. The terminal 6 has first and second edge sections 6a and 6b which are formed in recessed shapes roughly toward the centers of the edge sections 6a and 6b. Consequently, the distance (heteropolar distance) between each edge section 6a and 6b and each front end section 3B3 of the metallic frame terminal 3 can be secured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
