PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably detect a surface temperature of an occupant by non-contact temperature sensors provided in an air conditioner for a vehicle, regardless of an occupant's height sitting down, changes of the attitude, and position and attitude of a seat. SOLUTION: The non-contact temperature sensors 70a to 70d of prescribed shapes and sizes provided with a range to be temperature-detected of 700a to 700d are arranged close to a side window near a center of each sitting position on left and right sides of a front seat and left and right sides of a rear seat and on an upper side of each sitting position in the ceiling in a cabin, to detect the surface temperature of an upper part on the shoulder on the side window side of the occupant sitting on each seat by non-contact. As a result, the shoulder upper part is not deviated from the the range to be temperature-detected of each non-contact temperature sensor 70a to 70d viewing the shoulder from the above, even if the occupant's height sitting down and a sitting attitude of the occupant are changed, and the occupant's temperature can be stably detected.
