PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dissatisfaction of a user at the incompatible problem of high temperature heat reservation and progress of fatigue particularly caused by a boiled rice quantity. SOLUTION: This electric rice cooker has a control means for reserving heat in a selected heat reserving mode of an ordinary heat reserving mode and a high temperature heat reserving mode for reserving heat at the temperature higher than the ordinary heat reserving mode after cooking rice, and attains the purpose by performing the high temperature heat reserving mode by changing heating control in response to the boiled rice quantity.
