PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new puncturing needle configured so that the needle point of the needle once immersed into an outer member does not accidentally protrude again. SOLUTION: The puncturing needle is equipped with a slider 2 in which the needle 4 is implanted in the tip of a protrusion 2a and the outer member 3 storing the slider 2 so that the needle point 4a can protrude from or retract into a tip opening 6. The slider 2 is inclined in the outer member 3 when it is restored after the needle point protrudes. A ring member 7 which falls off to the needle side when the slider is restored is loosely fitted to the protruded part of the slider 2. Obstruction by the ring member 7 which falls off to the needle side from the protruded part of the slider 2 at the time of restoration prevents the needle point from accidentally protruding again from the tip opening of the outer member.
