PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine having a plurality of kinds of game types and allowing a player to select a game type out of the plurality of kinds of game types. SOLUTION: This slot machine is provided with the plurality of kinds of game types with different game contents, and a game type selecting means 63 selecting either game type out of the plurality of kinds of game types by a predetermined operation of the player, and the plurality of kinds of game types include a first game type and a second game type which has an acquisition number of game media expectation value in a predetermined game period more than that of the first game type. At least, the first game type and the second game type out of the plurality of kinds of game types comprise a game of executing a special role non-winning control which dose not stop a combination of symbols corresponding to the special role on an effective line and a game executing a special role winning control which can stop the combination of the symbols corresponding to the special role on the effective line.
