PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher having excellent installation property by reducing the opening / closing space of a door body. SOLUTION: The dishwasher comprises: a main body 7; a washing tub 8 provided with a front surface opening part 9; an upper door body 10 provided with a slide groove part 14 and covering the front surface opening part 9 so as to be freely opened and closed; a slide support part 12 for supporting the upper door body 10 movably to the upper space of the main body 7; a first operation regulation part 18 whose one end is rotatably supported by the main body 7; and a second operation regulation part 19 whose one end is connected to the first operation regulation part 18 and other end is connected to the upper door body 10. One end of the slide support part 12 is rotatably supported at the upper part of the outer wall of the washing tub 8 and the slide groove part 14 is freely slidably supported at the other end. The upper door body 10 is opened and closed by operations in which rotation and sliding are combined by the slide support part 12 and the first and second operation regulation parts 18 and 19, a projection length to the front is short in the case that the opening / closing height of the upper door body 10 is the same as before, the height required for opening and closing the upper door body 10 is lowered in the case that the projection length to the front is the same as before, and the installation property of the main body 7 is improved.
