PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygienic case for raising a small animal, extremely facilitating the cleaning by dropping unnecessary materials such as excrements, fallen hairs and foods of the small animal onto a tray for receiving the unnecessary materials. SOLUTION: The case for raising the small animal has a lower pedestal 1 having periphery walls 4 and opened upward, a small animal-housing body 2 arranged on the lower pedestal 1 and opened downward, and the unnecessary material-receiving tray 3 stored in the lower pedestal 1 so as to be drawable and opened upward. Inner collar parts 5 are protruded at the medium parts of the inner surface of the periphery walls 4 in the height direction along the periphery walls 4.
