<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide control method of a power converter for a discharge tube in which stabilized control is ensured even when discharge power is low and impedance is high, and the pulsation of an input current is eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for controlling a power converter by regulating a discharge tube voltage by a feedback regulator or a feedforwrd regulator when AC power is supplied from the power converter to a discharge tube, the gain of the feedback regulator or the feedforwrd regulator is lowered when the discharge tube power of the power converter is not higher than a preset level. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
