<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device capable of discharging gas at the inside of an air bag by a prescribed set pressure value at a proper time by simple constitution to reduce manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: A gas control device 20 is constituted to energize and push a lid part 24 toward an opening part 21A via a lid pressing part 27 by using a spring 28. In this air bag device 1, the air bag 12 is expanded and deployed by supplying the gas to the inside of the air bag 12 by an inflator 13 when a prescribed signal is inputted. When internal pressure becomes higher and exceeds the prescribed set pressure value while expanding and deploying the air bag 12, the lid part 24 is pressed by the gas at the inside of the air bag 12 and the spring 28 is shrunk via the lid pressing part 27 to release closing of the opening part 21A by the lid part 24.
