<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a multicast communication system which switches over information contents received by a mobile terminal every location of this terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The multicast communication system is composed of distribution servers 5 for distributing information by multicast, an access router 2 for transferring the information from the distribution servers 5, and mobile terminals 1 for receiving the information from the distribution server 5 via the access router 2. Further, the system comprises a location information server 3x having an information memory 33 for storing information about the distribution servers 5 as distribution server information. Upon receipt of a request to receive information distributed by the distribution server 5 from the mobile terminal 1, the access router 2 receives the distribution server information from the location information server 3x, and receives and transfers the information distributed by the distribution server 5 to the terminal, based on the received distribution server information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
