<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method which enables the recording of much information by means of printing or the like, a device therefor and a multilayer code to improve customers' satisfaction. <P>SOLUTION: An element is patterned and arranged from information to be recorded to generate a surface layer code, and a minute element which is minuter in size than the above-mentioned element is patterned and arranged from the information to be recorded to generate a deep layer code.
