<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide much stronger encryption criteria, for example, much longer keys or stronger algorithms for converting data so as not to be damaged by a malicious attack when encrypting and storing the data for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: When data are encrypted and stored for a long time, encryption key(s) and/or algorithm(s) should be updated so as not to be damaged due to malicious attack. To that end, stored encrypted data are converted in the storage system with a new set of cryptographic criteria.
