<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating connector capable of reducing a cost by substantially shortening the required length of a flat cable. <P>SOLUTION: In this rotating connector wherein the rotor 2 having an internal cylinder part 7b is rotatably coupled with a stator 1 having an external cylinder part 5a, a flat cable 3 is housed in an annular space defined between the external cylinder part 5a and the internal cylinder part 7b with the flat cable 3 reversed, and a holder 4 is rotatably disposed in the annular space 9, a guide wall 4b having an outer peripheral surface 4b<SB>2</SB>eccentric to the inner peripheral surface 4b<SB>1</SB>extending concentrically to the internal cylinder part 7b is raised on the annular flat plate part 4a of the holder 4, an opening 14 for the reversed part 3a of the flat cable 3 to pass through is provided in the maximum diameter portion of the guide wall 4b, a projecting wall part 4d and a recessed wall part 4e facing each other through the opening 14 are integrally formed on the guide wall 4b, and the flat cable 3 is wound on the outer peripheral surface 4b<SB>2</SB>of the guide wall 4b to bring it into a wound-back state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
