<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shielded braid cutting device that easily cuts the surplus of an exposed shielded braid by reciprocating the surplus of the exposed shielded braid by a simple reciprocating operation after stripping off the outer skin of a terminal of a shielded cable, in the terminal processing of the shielded cable. <P>SOLUTION: The surplus 5 that is formed by making the shielded braid 4 stripped off to the end of the shielded cable 2 sag in the longitudinal direction is arranged between a pair of parallel fixed cutters and a pair of parallel movable cutters, and the surplus 5 of the shielded braid 4 is cut by such a reciprocating operation as the approach and the separation of the movable cutters by a cutter drive mechanism 131, while rotating the cable by a cable rotating mechanism 11 after the shielded cable 2 is held by a cable holding means 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
