STEERING REACTION FORCE GENERATING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE DRIVE SIMULATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering reaction force generating device for a vehicle drive simulation device that can reproduce a steering reaction force corresponding to steering operation and vehicle behavior, and to impart a steering reaction force obtained during actual vehicle drive to a driver.

SOLUTION: The steering reaction force generating device for the vehicle drive simulation device comprises a steering wheel (1) which transmits the steering angle of the driver to the vehicle drive simulation device; a steering angle sensor (2) which detects the steering angle of the steering wheel; a control means (13) of calculating the steering reaction force based upon the state of a vehicle drive simulated by the vehicle device simulation device and the steering angle; and steering reaction force output means (6, 14) of generating and transmitting torque corresponding to the steering reaction force to the steering wheel.
