CORRECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction device collecting position information of at least two vehicles and correcting information with low precision by use of information with high precision. SOLUTION: A position transmitter 11 forms position information of a vehicle 100. A position transmitter 2 forms position information of a vehicle 200. Each position information includes positioning accuracy information showing the precision of position information. The position transmitter 1 is lower in positioning accuracy than the transmitter 1. The transmitters 1 and 2 transmit the position information to the correction device 3. The correction device 3 determines the positioning accuracy of each position information in reference to the positioning accuracy information for position information transmitted from the transmitters 1 and 2. The correction device 3 further corrects the position information formed by the transmitter 1 by use of the position information formed by the transmitter 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
