PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiver in which the operability can be enhanced when selecting a channel. SOLUTION: A channel number of 3 digits is assigned to each channel, respectively, through which program contents are broadcasted. A mobile communication terminal 10 receives entry of an arbitrary numeral by a ten-key 38a or a cursor key 38b or 38c. Then the mobile communication terminal specifies a channel number including two numerals or below which the terminal receives and outputs program information of program contents corresponding to the specified channel number to a monitor 66.
