PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an HPLC system for measuring melatonin. SOLUTION: The HPLC system has a specimen introducing means for introducing a biological specimen containing melatonin, a treatment means, having at least a plurality of columns and concentrating and separating the biological specimen to collect a fraction containing melatonin and a detection means for detecting components originating from melatonin, using the fraction by the selective ion detection using a single mass spectrometer.
