PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external wall structure of a wooden building capable of improving a fire resistive performance in comparison with the external wall structure of the conventional wooden building and regarding the wooden building as a [fire resistive construction]. SOLUTION: An external wall 1 of the wooden building comprises a framework body 10 as a structural member, an external wall section 20 as a fire resistive coating layer installed on an outdoor side of the framework body 10 and an internal wall section 30 installed on an indoor side of the framework body 10. A first coating layer 21 on the outdoor side consisting of a lightweight cellular concrete panel 21A and a second coating layer 22 on the indoor side consisting of a calcium silicate 22A are laminated to constitute the external wall section 20.
