Antiperspirant compositions and method comprising wax microparticles

The present disclosure relates to a cosmetic composition comprising, in an oil-in-water emulsion: (A) at least one antiperspirant active agent; and (B) a plurality of wax particles having a mean particle size of less than 50 mum and a melting point of greater than 80° C. The present disclosure further relates to a cosmetic process for treating perspiration and body odors related to perspiration comprising applying, to the surface of skin, an effective amount of such a composition. The present disclosure also relates to a method for reducing the drying time and the stickiness effect of an antiperspirant composition comprising adding a plurality of wax particles having a mean size of less than 50 mum and a melting point of greater than 80° C. in the antiperspirant composition.
