WINDING SUPPORT FOR AN ELECTRICAL MACHINE

A winding support (14) for an electrical machine (10) is proposed. The winding support (18) is in the form of a laminated core and has a plurality of pole teeth (36). Each pole tooth (26) has a pole foot (38), about which a winding (20) can be disposed. The pole feet (38) increase in width starting from the ends (48) of the laminated core. The width of the teeth is thus graded, whereby the cross-section of the teeth becomes rounded and therefore has a smaller circumference. The winding wire is thus shorter, thereby reducing the resistance.
