In an information management system and a method thereof, for reducing data transmission of an enormous amount generated for analysis and observation thereof, and also an information management sub-system, wherein a manager 100 analyzes or observes data, which is collected by plural numbers of agents 300 connected therewith through a network 600 , a sub-manager 200 is disposed, which shares the data in common, between the agents 300 , and said sub-manager compiles the targets of management; such as, various kinds of information data collected by the agents, programs for collecting/analyzing them, and data of analysis results thereof, into storage 400 , which is connected with through other network 500 and is used commonly between the sub-manager and the agents, so as to manage it as configuration management information.
