METHOD OF MEASURING SUBSTANCE BY MASS SPECTROMETRY AND KIT THEREFOR

A method of measuring a substance by mass spectrometry; and a kit therefor. In particular, there are provided a method of measuring a hydrophobic peptide by a MALDI mass spectrometer; a method of selectively measuring a specified substance from a mixture by MALDI mass spectrometry; and a method of quantitative analysis for protein and a kit therefor. Further, there is provided a method of measuring a peptide by a MALDI mass spectrometer with the use of alpha-cyano-3-hydroxycinnamic acid or 3-hydroxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid as a matrix. Still further, there is provided a method of mass spectrometry, comprising specifically ionizing a given substance contained in a mixture of given substance to be measured and other substances with the use of a matrix capable of ionizing the given substance more easily than the other substances and measuring the given substance selectively from the mixture. Furthermore, there are provided a relevant method of quantitative analysis for protein and kit therefor.
