<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual line detector capable of detecting a visual line regardless of the existence or nonexistence of spectacles. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of judging that a driver is not wearing the spectacles in a spectacle wearing judgement part 31, or in the case of judging that infrared rays emitted from an infrared ray LED 23 toward the eyeball of the driver are reflected by the spectacles of the driver in an infrared ray reflection judgement part 33, an infrared ray visual line calculation part 34 calculates the visual line vector (visual line direction) of the driver on the basis of the image data of infrared ray images inputted from a visual line sensor 12 and calculates the object position of the visual line on the basis of the visual line vector further. At the time of judging that the infrared rays emitted from the infrared ray LED 23 toward the eyeball of the driver are reflected by the spectacles of the driver in the infrared ray reflection judgement part 33, a visible light visual line calculation part 32 calculates the visual line vector of the driver and the object position of the visual line on the basis of the image data of visible light images inputted from the visual line sensor 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
