PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder which can obtain high-definition images while the ease of use is improved by facilitating work on a carriage and reducing a working time also in the case that a plurality of recording heads for discharging the same color inks are set on the carriage to increase the number of recording heads for discharging the same color inks, and to provide a recording head position adjustment method. SOLUTION: The recorder comprises a plurality of the recording heads 10 which discharge inks of a plurality of colors and arranged by a plurality of the number for each of the colors of ink, module units 5 which carry the plurality of recording heads 10 that discharge the inks of the same colors, and the carriage 4 which carries the module units 5.
