PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera or the like capable of displaying images configuring an electronic album and also displaying information related to the electronic album such as information as to the number of image data files stored in one album and information as to a photographed time of the images in the album. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes: a means for acquiring the number of images registered in the album being the number of images for configuring the album on the basis of a control file for managing photographed images; and furthermore a means for acquiring the number of images registrable in the residual space for denoting the number of images capable of being furthermore registered in the album on the basis of the control file and the maximum number of registerable images capable of configuring the album, and the digital camera displays an arbitrary image for configuring the album and switchingly displays the acquired number of registered images in the album or the acquired registrable number of images in the album.
