摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an atomic absorptiometer of high sensitivity constituted so as to correct a background by a Zeeman system and using a hydride producing and analyzing method. SOLUTION: A magnetic field generating means 30 having a pair of pole pieces so as to hold the flame F formed by a burner part 20 is provided. A quartz tube 40 is arranged to the gap between a pair of the pole pieces of the magnetic field generating means 30 and a hydride is introduced into the quartz tube 40. The light emitted from a light source 10 is absorbed by the atomic vapor of a metal to be analyzed produced in the quartz tube 40 to be detected by a photodetector 60. Heat shielding blocks 38A and 38B for shielding the transfer of the heat generated from the flame F to magnets 34A and 34B are provided between the flame F formed by the burner part 20 and the magnets.
