PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system capable of optimizing a covering area to be searched by each radar with respect to an imparted required covering area, and capable of searching the required covering area with a short data updating interval. SOLUTION: A covering area boundary generating means 105 generates a covering area boundary, based on the required covering area and a searchable range of each radar. A data updating interval evaluation means 111 finds the covering area of the each radar, based on the required covering area, the searchable range of each radar and the covering area boundary, and finds the data updating interval as a time required for searching the covering area. The radar system capable of searching the required covering area with the short data updating interval is attained by finding the data updating intervals in the various covering areas, and by controlling the radars, based on the covering area boundary corresponding to the minimum data updating interval difference out of them.
