PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm feeling building material exhibiting an excellent warm feeling effect, hardly stained and hardly causing frost damage. SOLUTION: The warm feeling building material 1 comprises a base material layer 2 and a heat insulating layer 3 formed on the base material layer 2. The open porosity of the heat insulating layer 3 is 5% or less. The warm feeling building material 1 can impart sufficient warm feelings because of having pores of hollow grains in the heat insulating layer 3. Water infiltration or the like from the surface does not occur in the heat insulating layer 3 because the open porosity is 5% or less.
