PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic polyester resin composition which has an excellent workability and of which the molded article has excellent colorability and heat resistance. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic polyester resin composition is obtained by compounding 0.001-10 pts.mass of a straight-chain aliphatic carboxylic acid having a 50-180 acid value, a≤1 ester value and a 300-1,000 number average molecular weight, with 100 pts.mass of a thermoplastic polyester resin.
