PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner for which an extension pipe part and a suction port body can be easily separated by changing the angle of the extension pipe part and the suction port body at the time of cleaning by the extension pipe part or the like. SOLUTION: In this vacuum cleaner, the extension pipe part 30 is attachable and detachable to/from the suction port body main body 10 of the suction port body 1, and the extension pipe part 30 and the suction port body main body 10 are provided with a lock mechanism composed of a swing member 27 and a plate part 53 to be hooked for maintaining the connection state of the extension pipe part 30 and the suction port body main body 10. The lock mechanism makes the extension pipe part 30 and the suction port body main body 10 separable when the angle formed by the suction surface 11 facing a floor surface of the suction port body main body 10 and the extension pipe part 30 becomes roughly 90°.
