PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for growing a plant in a narrow space or in an artificial environment, e.g. a storefront of a greengrocer and a space in the interior of an artificial satellite present in astrospace. SOLUTION: The device is obtained by installing a freely rotatable base plate 3 surrounded by a cylindrical drum 7 in a cabinet, radially standing two or more selector plates 4 on the base plate to form two or more wedge-shaped closed chambers 5 surrounded by the selector plates and the cylinder bore of the drum, standing growing beds 6 composed of cylindrical bodies which have two or more opened windows 6a for vegetation, opened in the side walls, in the closed chambers. The device can cultivates many plants even at the narrow space as a three-dimensional growing device for growing and raising the plants in the side directions by seeding in a culture soil or a resin foam having open cells present at the opened windows for the vegetation, and irradiating the opened window 6a sides with light sources 8 installed in the drum side.
