PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter which can improve the planting postures of seedlings planted in a furrow between ridges and can plant the seedlings at the laterally more central positions of the furrow. SOLUTION: This seedling transplanter is characterized by having a pair of right and left rear wheels 7, 7, a pair of front wheels 6, 6 supporting a machine frame and traveling in the furrow formed between the ridges, a seeding-planting device 4a for planting seedlings in the furrow between the ridges, and a pair of compacting wheels 38, 38 for compacting soil around the seedlings planted with a seeding-planting device 4a, in the direction traveling on the ridges, wherein a position for planting the seedling with the seeding-planting device 4a and the lower end portions of the pair of the compacting wheels 38, 38 are placed between the right and left more inner sides of the machine frame than the grounding sites of the pair of the right and left front wheels 6, 6.
