PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for diffusing a chemical designed to further extend a diffusion area of the chemical during use and diffuse the chemical only at need. SOLUTION: This apparatus 1 for diffusing the chemical is equipped with a netlike chemical holding member 12 holding the chemical and a sheet member 11 to which the chemical holding member is attached. The sheet member 11 is composed of a material suppressing the diffusion of the chemical and can be rolled. The chemical holding member 12 is provided in through-hole parts 11a of the sheet member 11. When the sheet member 11 is rolled, the chemical holding member 12 can be covered. When the sheet member 11 is extended, the chemical holding member 12 can be evaporated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
