#CMT# #/CMT# The assembly has a tubular light lamp (11) under a liquid crystal panel, and substrates bonded with a liquid crystal layer. A light guide plate positioned between the lamps, directs light from the lamp towards the panel, and adjusts quantity and direction of the light. A reflective plate (12) below the lamp and the guide plate, reflects the light leaked from a bottom of the guide plate towards the panel. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a liquid crystal display device comprising an upper substrate with a color filter layer, and a backlight assembly. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a liquid crystal display device (LCD) for notebook PC, desktop monitor and liquid crystal television. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The light assembly reduces number of light lamps, thus minimizing heat discharge from the lamps, and hence effectively preventing sagging of optical sheets caused by the heat.
